Hello there!

I drifted away from my discipline for a few days there, but the great news is it gave me insights on the effectiveness of slowing down so you can speed up in your business.

This is the time of year when the weather starts changing, spring break sets in, and allergies take some people out of the game for a little while. The opportunities are still plentiful we are just starting the 2nd quarter of the year!

You have probably crapped out on your New Year resolution by now, and some of your big goals for the year seem like they are getting harder and harder to achieve, this is not the time to slow down and get distracted by the “what if’s.” Don’t feel sorry for yourself if everything hasn’t gone exactly the way you want it to because life is what happens once you have set your plan.

This is your opportunity, now is the time to reaffirm your goals and action plan, you must evaluate what has changed this year and what new tools and opportunities you have. Do not be afraid to edit your goals and action plan, just accepting what you initially set up will not do. You must re-write the goals. The more often you are able to do this the better you will internalize them.

You may have family coming into town, your allergies may be going crazy, you may be nowhere near your objectives for the year, it may seem like nothing is going how you planned, BUT this IS YOUR TIME! All you can do is all you can do, you must not abandon your principals.

Learning more, doing more, becoming more, that is what personal growth is all about. Slowing down to sharpen your skills and readjust your course of action is what will assure future success.

What inspires, what motivates, what excites you in your business? What is it that keeps you going day after day? Let us know.

It does not matter who is at a group, events, or any type of business function there is always more than enough to go around. When it seems like there is a lack, that is because you are sending off the energy that is not allowing you to maximize your potential.

When you think of scarcity that is what you will manifest. If you are intimidated of other successful people in your industry refine your skills and get better. They are not going to get any worse so the only thing to do is sharpen your own skills.

It would appear Chris and I are “competitors” in many aspects. We both host business networking events, trainings, and workshops, so why is it that both of us are able to earn significantly more money endorsing each other rather than trying to out do each other?

Mutual respect and co-operation that’s why! By affiliating yourself with other successful people you like it is just so much easier to rise to the top when you are surrounded by excellence.

Thank you Chris and all my readers for your support knowledge!

We have all been stuck at business networking function where had to sit there to listen to someone ramble on and on about how great their product or service is.

Well here is a short little tip on how to catch other peoples attention with out shamelessly promoting yourself appearing to be a walking advertisement.

Business networking events are about meeting other professionals and forming alliances, NOT to attempt to sell everyone in the room. Too often we have visitors come to events, show up once, go over their allotment of time for their commercial, not participate in the group any more, and then never show up again.

I refer to these people as: “The broke know it all’s.”

Do not be one of these people if you intend on being successful at any business endeavor your partake in. Your reputation is everything and once that is tarnished you will spend drastically more time cleaning up what you have destroyed than it would have taken for you to build a long lasting meaningful relationship from the get go.

Have a wonderful day everyone!
